In Ten Years Time: Shining a Light on the Journey Ahead

Tricia Duffy had a vision—to create a podcast that empowers and inspires people to pursue their creative dreams. In Ten Years Time was born from her passion to guide others toward personal and professional fulfilment.

But in a world overflowing with podcasts, she faced a challenge: how to make her message stand out. She needed an identity that was not only bold and eye-catching but also resonated deeply with an audience seeking empowerment and inspiration.

That's where I came in. Entrusted with designing the branding and artwork for In Ten Years Time, my mission was clear—to encapsulate her vision in a visual identity that would shine brightly on platforms like Spotify.

I centred the design around a spotlight motif—a beam of light illuminating the path forward. This wasn't just a graphic element; it symbolised guidance, clarity, and the journey toward creative fulfilment that Tricia wanted to offer her listeners.

Choosing bold and vibrant colours was intentional. These hues weren't just about catching the eye; they were about evoking feelings of optimism, energy, and empowerment. The design needed to be more than visually striking—it had to forge an emotional connection.

Modern, clean typography ensured that the podcast's name was clear and readable across all mediums, from smartphone screens to promotional materials.

The result was a branding that didn't just stand out—it spoke directly to the heart of Tricia's mission. The combination of the spotlight and bold colours created an identity that was both inspiring and memorable.

Since its launch, In Ten Years Time has been turning heads. Amidst a sea of podcasts, its distinctive artwork draws in listeners searching for inspiration and guidance on their creative journeys.

Tricia was over the moon. She felt the branding perfectly captured the essence of her podcast, and feedback from her audience echoed her sentiments.

This project was a powerful reminder of what thoughtful design can achieve. It's not just about aesthetics; it's about telling a story, creating connections, and inspiring others to embark on their own paths toward fulfilment.
