Shaping Royalty: Creating a Dynamic Brand Identity for MBM Group


Established in 2006, MBM Group is a Royal family office and investment holding company based in Dubai. It is engaged in a diverse range of activities including investments, strategic advisory services, and social and community development.

While MBM Group had established a robust presence in its sphere, its brand identity was in need of an update to match the dynamism and innovation that characterized its operations. The task was to create a fresh, dynamic, and impactful brand identity that would underline the Group's prestigious status while aligning with its forward-thinking approach.

As the Creative Director, I was given the challenge and privilege of reimagining MBM Group's visual identity. I was responsible for conceptualizing and executing a new design that would echo the Group's royal heritage, embody its commitment to societal development, and reflect its innovative investment strategies.

I crafted a distinct and dynamic logo and visual identity that balanced modern aesthetics with a nod to traditional elements - a reflection of MBM Group's grounding in Dubai's rich history and its forward-looking vision. The logo embodied prestige, stability, and growth, key characteristics of the Group's ethos. The colors, typography, and design elements were carefully chosen to convey the Group's vision and values across all brand touchpoints.

The new brand identity was well-received, injecting a fresh and dynamic perspective into MBM Group's brand image. His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum himself praised the new branding, reflecting its successful resonance with the Group's core objectives. The updated visual identity marked a new chapter in the Group's journey, reinforcing its position in the investment landscape and enhancing its appeal to potential collaborators and beneficiaries.
